BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Northern Illinois University came into the Stroh Center and came away with an 85-81 win over the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team Wednesday evening (Feb. 15).
The Huskies (13-11, 5-8 Mid-American Conference) shot nearly 54 percent from the field, and went 13-for-25 (52%) from three-point range in the win.
The Falcons (22-3, 11-2 MAC) saw a pair of 11-game winning streaks come to an end. BGSU had won 11 consecutive games since a loss in the MAC opener on Jan. 4, and the Orange and Brown had won 11-straight home games since a two-point loss to Akron nearly a year ago (Feb.
