The Bobcats defeated the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The league-opening series is being played at OU's Bob Wren Stadium.
BGSU's Tyler Hays, a standout pitcher in his own right, went toe-to-toe with potential first-round pick Joe Rock. The Ohio lefty and Hays each went six scoreless innings, but it was Hays who left the game in line for the win.
