Since Bowling Green State University football coach Scot Loeffler was Boston College’s offensive coordinator, he has kept a close watch on Tommy Guajardo.
Boston College was the first Power Five program Guajardo received an offer from when he was a junior at Dearborn High School. When Loeffler took over the Falcons football program in 2019, he heavily recruited the tight end to BG’s program.
Eventually, Guajardo made the decision to commit to Michigan State University. He redshirted the 2020 season with the Spartans and participated in spring practice earlier this year.
Two days after the spring season ended, Guajardo entered the transfer portal.
