Port Clinton, Ohio – The 11th annual Gridiron Classic Golf & Dinner is slated to tee off on Monday afternoon, July 15 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Hosted at Catawba Island Club, the event is the largest annual fundraiser event for BGSU Football.

Highlighting Monday's dinner will be an appearance by Lloyd Carr, the College Football Hall of Fame Head Coach of the Michigan Wolverines from 1995-2007. Carr's teams won five Big Ten titles and the 1997 national championship after beating Washington State in the Rose Bowl.
Carr's history with new BGSU Head Coach Scot Loeffler dates back to Loeffler's playing days at quarterback for Michigan from 1993-96.
