CLEVELAND, Ohio (BGSU Strategic Communications) – Bowling Green State University softball standout Payton Gottshall has been named the Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday afternoon (March 15).
Gottshall earns the honor for the second-straight Tuesday, the third time this season and the seventh time in her young BGSU career.
Gottshall, a native of Massillon, Ohio (Perry H.S.), went 2-1 with a save, an ERA of 1.65 and an opponent batting average of just .121 as BG participated at Lipscomb's Lady Bison Classic over the weekend.
