Gordon, bench lift Bowling Green men's basketball over Eastern Michigan

BOWLING GREEN — When Daeqwon Plowden and Samari Curtis each had to check out of the game early in the first half with foul trouble, Bowling Green State University needed an answer from its reserves.

Myron Gordon answered the call.

BGSU’s veteran sixth man posted a season-high 21 points in 28 minutes of action to pace four double-digit scorers in the Falcons’ cruising to an 85-71 win over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday at the Stroh Center in Mid-American Conference men’s basketball action.

“You can’t put a price on that one,” Falcons coach Michael Huger said. “Kaden [Metheny has] been out.
