DAYTON, Ohio – Maycee Godbolt doubled twice and drove in the first three runs of the game, staking the Bowling Green State University softball team to an early lead, and the Falcons went on to a 6-5 win over the University of Dayton Wednesday afternoon (March 10). The non-conference game was held at UD Softball Stadium.
The second game of Wednesday's scheduled doubleheader was suspended due to darkness with the teams locked in a scoreless tie in the middle of the third inning. the game will not be made up.
Payton Gottshall picked up the win in the circle, striking out seven batters in her complete-game effort.
