FIRST QUARTER
u25a0 What happened: With the exception of a pick-six thrown by BGSU quarterback Drew Pyne, neither team could stop the other in an offensive showcase to start.
Cameron Pettaway’s 49-yard kickoff return to start the game gave BGSU great field position, but four plays later, Pyne’s pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage and intercepted by Cameron Hollobaugh. He returned it 71 yards for a touchdown to give the Bobcats the early lead with 12:59 left.
