Fourth-Quarter Run Lifts Mercer Past Falcons Sunday

Mercer University broke open a close game with a fourth-quarter run, and the Bears went on to a 76-63 win over the Bowling Green State University women's basketball team Sunday afternoon (Nov. 25). The game, part of the Coastal Carolina Tournament, was held at the HTC Center.

All five starters scored in double digits for the Bears (3-3), who used a 16-point run to overcome an early fourth-quarter deficit. Mercer's Rachel Selph led all players with 23 points on the day.

For the Falcons (3-3), freshman Morgan McMillen scored 22 points and junior Andrea Cecil had 21.
