The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has added former Kent State University forward Gabe O'Neal through the transfer portal.
O'Neal, a 6-foot-7 forward from Cincinnati, averaged 4.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and shot 64.2 percent from the field for the Golden Flashes last season.
BG coach Michael Huger said O'Neal is an in-state player that has experienced success at all levels.
“Coming from Kent State, Gabe already knows the physicality and competitiveness of MAC basketball,” Huger said. “Gabe will provide a toughness, a post presence, low-post scoring, and a relentless effort on the boards. His physical play will make him a relentless matchup for our opponents.
