BOWLING GREEN — Marcus Hill, who thrived in his lone season with Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team, announced on Thursday he will be transferring to North Carolina State.
The 6-foot-4 guard, who entered the transfer portal in late March, will be joining an N.C. State squad that won five games in five days to claim the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament title, then made a run to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament during the 2023-24 season.
In his season with BGSU, Hill averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as he started all 34 games.
