Piscataway, N.J. – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team placed third out of four teams Saturday at Rutgers. No. 6 Minnesota posted a winning score of 196.875, followed by the host institution at 194.550. BGSU was third at 191.025, followed by Ursinus with a 184.800.
Junior Alex Fochler took medalist honors on the uneven bars with a score of 9.850, tying Minnesota's Lexi Ramler for the best score of the night. It was just shy of her career high 9.875.
