Junior Madi McCoy's hard-hit ground ball plated freshman Madeline Dyer in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving the Bowling Green State University softball team a 3-2, extra-innings win over the University of Akron on Saturday afternoon (April 27) at Meserve Field.
The Zips rallied for a 5-1 win in game two as the teams split the Mid-American Conference doubleheader.
