The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will take part in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Challenge in the 2016-17 season. Head coach Jennifer Roos and the Falcons will play a total of four games in the annual NCAA women's exempt tournament, which is sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
On Thursday (June 30), the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the field of teams and schedule for the Women's Challenge. Each of the eight teams will play three games during the campus-round portion of the event just prior to Thanksgiving, and all eight programs then will play a game on Sunday, November 27, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.
