BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons opened 2023 with a first-place team finish at home, winning the Falcon Early Bird Open with 111 points. This was just one point ahead of Eastern Michigan and eight points ahead of Central Michigan. BGSU saw two first-place finishes from , as well as first-place finishes from and . The Falcons also had runner-up finishes from , , , and the 4x400 relay team. Several athletes attained PRs, including all five that competed in the weight throw.
