Providence, R.I. – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team dominated the floor exercise and the vault to rally past Brown University in a tri-meet Sunday afternoon. The Falcons also defeated Rhode Island College as BGSU put together one of its most complete performances of the 2020 season. The Falcons recorded a team score of 193.900 to overcome a deficit of more than a full point at the halfway point of the meet. Brown ended with a 193.500 and Rhode Island College had a 180.000.
With the wins, Bowling Green improves to 10-12 on the season. It is the first double-digit win total for the Falcons since the 2002 team went 17-1 and a large improvement over a two-win season just a year ago.
