BOWLING GREEN — It was a tough offensive showing for Bowling Green State University in their loss to the Utah Valley Wolverines on Saturday in men’s basketball. BGSU trailed by as many as 26 before dropping the contest 82-71 after shooting 4 of 24 on three-point looks.
The battle-tested Wolverines came into town at 5-3 overall, with other contests coming against Boise State, Fresno State, and San Diego State. They were also previously undefeated at the Cancun Challenge, winning the invitational.
It provided strong opposition for the Falcons, who returned home after their first Power Four win in 20 years on the road against Kansas State.
