LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Bowling Green women's golf team began the spring slate of their schedule on Monday (Feb. 7) at the Royal Lakes Golf Course in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. The Falcons entered the event as the No. 8 seed in the field of 12, taking on No. 9 Western Illinois in the first round.
Bowling Green was able to take a 4-1 victory over WIU, advancing to face No. 1 Central Michigan in the second round. Bowling Green gave the top-seeded Chippewas a hard fought second round of competition, coming up just shy with a final score of 3-2 in favor of CMU.
