SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (7-8-0, 6-5-0 CCHA) secured their seventh win of the season with a 7-4 victory over the Lake Superior State Lakers (1-10-2, 0-6-1 CCHA). The Falcons scored in the opening minute of the first two periods, totaling three goals in each of those frames. The Lakers countered with two goals of their own in the first two periods, but a Bowling Green power play goal was the only score of the third period.
