Live Scoring / Day 1 Results RIO VERDE Ariz. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team opened the Rio Verde Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 23) afternoon with a team score of 302, which has the Falcons tied for fifth place in the 18-school event.
The tournament is being hosted by Western Michigan University, and is being held at the Rio Verde Country Club on the Quail Run course. The final 18 holes of play will be wrapped up tomorrow.
Bowling Green is just five shots off the lead. Arkansas State (297), Boise State (298) and Xavier (299) sit at the top of the leaderboard after the opening 18 holes.
