Box Score (PDF) WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team opened its weekend at the Hughes Brothers Challenge with a 5-3 victory over Marshall University. The three-game weekend is being staged at Brooks Field on the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
The win is Bowling Green's first of the 2020 season. The Falcons are now 1-3 on the campaign, with games against UNCW (Feb. 22) and Marshall (Feb. 23) still to come to finish out the weekend.
The Falcons took advantage of a three-run third inning, and never looked back.
