ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Bowling Green Falcons (10-8-3, 7-5-1-0) opened 2022 with a 4-2 victory over the St. Thomas Tommies (1-20-0, 1-14-0). The teams traded the first four scores and entered the final regulation period in a 2-2 tie. gave the Falcons the lead with a power play score, then secured the win with an empty net goal, assisted by Schneider. The game, Bowling Green's first in St. Thomas Ice Arena, resumed CCHA play for the Falcons.
