Falcons Off To Strong Start At Cardinal Classic

Statistics (PDF) YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team, after posting team scores of 301 and 302 over 36 holes of action, sits tied for fourth out of 16 schools at the Cardinal Classic. The event is being hosted by Ball State University at The Players Club in Yorktown, Indiana.

Bowling Green's two-round total of 603 is tied with Southern Illinois. Indianapolis (574) leads the tournament heading into tomorrow's final round of golf. Ball State (594) and Bradley (601) sit just ahead the Falcons, as well.

The Falcons were led by freshman Katie Whitfield (145), who sits tied for fourth on the individual leaderboard.
