LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bowling Green State University softball team has earned a prestigious honor. The Falcons have been named an Easton/NFCA Top 10 Academic Team for the 2020-21 academic year. The top-10 lists for various levels of high school and college softball were announced by the NFCA on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 5).
With a GPA of 3.704 for the '20-21 academic year, the Falcons of head coach Sarah Willis were ranked 10th in the nation among NCAA Division-I schools.
The NFCA also announced that 8,800 student-athletes were named 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
