CLEVELAND, Ohio – No fewer than 16 members of the Bowling Green State University outdoor track and field program have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, announced by the league office on Thursday morning (Aug. 12).

Five of the 16 BGSU honorees – Butler, Johnson, Perry, Robertson and Shuble – currently maintain a perfect 4.000 cumulative grade point average. That is the highest total among all MAC schools.
The Academic All-MAC team honor is bestowed upon a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics.
