MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan Chippewas eked out victory at the end of the final rotation as the Bowling Green Falcons fall, 194.100-193.775, on Friday evening at McGuirk Arena.
Bowling Green took a 146.350-145.050 lead heading into the fourth rotation on the heels of four different CMU gymnasts falling off the beam. Central Michigan, who entered the week No. 25 in the nation on floor, was stellar in the final rotation with a 49.050 to seal the victory after BGSU had three gymnasts fall off the beam, or not stick a landing.
Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso tied for All-Around honors with a 38.
