The Bowling Green State University men's soccer program has earned an academic honor from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Falcons have received the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2015-16 academic year, the NSCAA office announced recently.
The NSCAA Team Academic Award is given to soccer programs that have achieved a minimum team grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
The Falcons of head coach Eric Nichols had a team GPA of 3.235 in the 2015-16 academic year, with a 3.176 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.295 GPA in the spring semester.
