Falcons Earn 3-0 Win Over Cougars on Senior Night

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team scored early in each half Friday night (Oct. 21), posting a 3-0 win over Chicago State University. The Mid-American Conference matchup took place at Cochrane Stadium.

Joey Akpunonu's penalty kick gave the Falcons (4-4-5, 2-1-2 MAC) the lead with under seven minutes gone, and Sergi Martinez doubled the BGSU lead just 88 seconds into the second half.

Freshman Trace Terry scored his first collegiate goal in the 72nd minute to complete the scoring.

Brendan Graves made five saves on the night, earning his sixth shutout of the season and his third in as many matches.
