BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team shot 60 percent from the field over the final three quarters Saturday afternoon (Jan. 30), en route to a 76-59 win over the University of Toledo. The Mid-American Conference game, the latest edition of the 'Battle of I-75,' was held inside the Stroh Center.
With the win, the Falcons (13-3, 9-2 MAC) have won five consecutive games, and BGSU completed a sweep of the season series with the Rockets (8-7, 4-7 MAC).
The Falcons shot over 50% from the floor for the third consecutive game.
