Box Score (PDF) NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team was defeated by Lipscomb University on Sunday (Feb. 16) afternoon by a score of 5-2. Lipscomb won all three games on the weekend. The series was played at LU's Dugan Field.
The Bisons scored two runs in the first, and led the rest of the way. LU's Malik Williams hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to extend the home team's lead to three runs at 5-2.
Bowling Green's Kyle Gurney hit a solo shot in the fourth – his first-career home run.
