Falcons Conclude Weekend Trip In North Carolina

Box Score (PDF) WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team was defeated by Marshall University, 7-6, Sunday (Feb. 23) afternoon. The game was a part of the Hughes Brothers Challenge, which was hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

The Falcons jumped out to a 5-1 lead by scoring five runs in the third. The inning was capped by consecutive two-run doubles from Adam Furnas and Kyle Gurney. Trent Farquhar also had a two-RBI day for Bowling Green. Gurney and Jake Wilson led the Falcons with two hits apiece.
