Falcons Conclude Day One At Inverness

Toledo, Ohio. – The BGSU Men's Golf team finishes the first day of the Inverness Intercollegiate in 11th out of 13 teams. The Falcons played two rounds today shooting 292 in the first and a 291 in the second, carding a total of 583, +15 overall for day one.

TEAM BREAKDOWN

  • St. Marys leads the pack after day one with 280 in round one, 278 in round two and 558, -10 overall
  • BGSU is ahead of Toledo and Ohio of the MAC after day one
  • Other teams in the MAC are Northern Illinois and Miami, tied for seventh

INDIVIDUAL BREAKDOWN

  • Freshman Rodrigue Vie played his first collegiate meet and leads the Falcons tied for 25th along with fellow Falcon, Pablo Heredia Iglesias
  • Vie and Heredia Iglesias carded 143, +1 concluding round two
  • Vie shot four bogeys and four birdies in round one and five bogeys and three birdies in round two
  • Max Rispler is tied for 43rd at the end of round two, up 20 places from the conclusion of round one
  • Rispler carded 75, +4 and 71, E in day one
  • Walker shot one birdie in round one and three in round two

BGSU will head off the second and final day of the Inverness Intercollegiate tomorrow, teeing off with a shotgun start at 9 AM.
