BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green (1-2) football team defeated Murray State (1-2) on Saturday (Sept. 18), winning the 2021 Homecoming game by a score of 27-10. This marks the first win of the season for the Falcons.
The Falcons were impressive defensively throughout the game, limiting the Murray State offense to 201 total yards and intercepting two passes. They kept the Racers scoreless in the second half, clinching the victory by getting a red-zone stop on fourth down. The BGSU offense gained 339 total yards, including a season-best 118 rushing yards.
