BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball program and head coach Danijela Tomic have announced the signing of Yelianiz Torres to a National Letter of Intent. Torres, of Manati, Puerto Rico, will join the volleyball program as a freshman for the 2019-20 season.
"We are thrilled to welcome Yelianiz to BGSU and our volleyball program!" Tomic said. "She is a great addition who will make us better on and off the court. Yelianiz is an outstanding person, student and a volleyball player. Playing indoor and beach volleyball from an early age in Puerto Rico helped Yelianiz develop a high volleyball IQ and great skills which were evident to us the first time we saw her play.
