After knocking at the door for years, the Falcon Men’s Soccer team advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in program history, but the first time since 1997!! Coach Eric Nichols led the 2020-21 squad to his first Mid-American Conference Championship and the automatic qualifying bid to nationals.
“We’ve been chasing this…it feels like forever. The MAC Championship is no joke. And we earned it. The discipline and commitment to stay on task when we didn’t know what the future held…I’m so happy for the players. When we win, we do it for ourselves and we do it for each other, but there are so many other people - the fans and the alumni – they really get a boost out of this.
