BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University’s volleyball program might have a lot of young players with a first-year head coach, but the Falcons don’t have any plans of changing their high standards anytime soon.
“It has never faltered. If anything, one of my favorite pieces of our program and something that will never change is the standard keeps getting higher and higher and higher,” BGSU coach Alex DelPiombo said after Thursday’s practice at the Stroh Center. “What we expect out of ourselves is going to only grow.”
BGSU, which has a combined seven MAC regular season and tournament titles and six total postseason berths in the past decade, has had a smooth transition since DelPiombo took over the program in January.
