Davis In Contention After Opening Round At Rio Verde Invitational

LIVE SCORING RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team completed 18 holes on Friday (Feb. 21) at the Rio Verde Invitational. Western Michigan University is hosting the event, which is being held at the White Wing Golf Course in Rio Verde, Arizona.

The Falcons recorded a team score of 318 in the first of three rounds on the weekend. On an individual leaderboard that features 95 golfers, freshman Kayla Davis is tied for 15th. Davis played the front nine holes at one-under par on her way to an opening-round 75.
