Conference woes continue for BGSU women with loss to Eastern Michigan

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team lost its fifth straight game 70-58 at the hands of Eastern Michigan Wednesday at the Stroh Center.

Jenna Annecchiarico had 22 points for Eastern Michigan (12-11, 7-5). Areanna Combs had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Four BGSU players, led by Angela Perry’s 18 points, scored in double figures. Mari Hill had 12 points, and Elissa Brett and Kadie Hempfling had 10 each.

The Falcons (8-15, 1-10) play at 1 p.m. at Central Michigan on Saturday.
