Open Letter From Athletics Director Chris Kingston (.pdf)Bowling Green, Ohio – Chris Kingston, who has served as Bowling Green's Director of Athletics since 2013, has been named a Vice President at Learfield Sports. Kingston, the 13th full-time Athletics Director at BGSU, will conclude his duties May 10.
"I greatly appreciate the energy and enthusiasm Chris brought to BGSU athletics," said BGSU President Mary Ellen Mazey. "Under his leadership, our student-athletes found great success in the classroom and on our fields and courts. He will be missed."
In Kingston's three years overseeing the department, Bowling Green has won two Mid-American Conference championships in football and played in the MAC Championship game three consecutive seasons.
