Bowling Green State University women's basketball standout Andrea Cecil has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning (Feb. 19). Cecil, a junior, earns the honor for the second time this season and the third time in her BGSU career.
Cecil, a native of Oak Harbor, Ohio (Oak Harbor H.S.), led the Falcons in scoring and rebounding last week, with 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She shot 68.2% from the field, going 15-for-22, and hit 4-of-6 three-pointers (66.7%). Cecil also averaged 3.0 assists per game and shot 81.
