BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) released the results of the 2022-23 Preseason Coaches' Poll, with the Bowling Green Falcons selected to finish third of eight teams. The Falcons earned 58 points, trailing only Minnesota State (69 points) and Northern Michigan (61). MSU received six first-place votes, while NMU received the remaining two.
The Falcons will compete in the reestablished CCHA for the second season. Last season, BGSU finished with an 11-14-1 conference record, including road wins over ranked opponents Bemidji State and Michigan Tech. This season, Bowling Green plays 14 of 26 conference games at home.
