BOWLING GREEN — Put it this way: Determining Bowling Green’s top five performances against Toledo during the past 20 football seasons doesn’t leave anything on the cutting-room floor.
Since 2000, the Falcons are 5-14 in the rivalry series, which includes nine straight losses with the Rockets heavily favored to win a 10th on Saturday.
But this wasn’t always one-way traffic. As a matter of fact, some of us are old enough to remember BG winning this game, which they occasionally even did in consecutive years. What a time to be alive.
