BOWLING GREEN — There will be no season finale for Bowling Green's football team.
The Falcons' final planned game, a scheduled Saturday date against Miami, has been canceled due to coronavirus positives and contact tracing inside the RedHawks' program.
The Mid-American Conference announced Thursday that "roster issues" will force the game to be counted as a no contest.
Bowling Green ends the season at 0-5, its first winless year since going 0-3 in 1919, the inaugural year for varsity football at the school.
The cancelation is the first of the season for the Falcons, who were able to play five of the six games on the revised MAC schedule.
