BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team will travel to Butler for the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, the event announced Monday.
The BGSU-Butler game will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse. The winner advances to face Purdue, with date and time to be decided.
Bowling Green (16-14) finished in a tie for fourth in the Mid-American Conference and lost in the first round of the conference tournament to Buffalo. Butler (14-16) finished tied for eighth in the Big East and lost in the first round of the conference tournament to Providence.
