The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team dug out of an 18-point deficit just six minutes into its WNIT tournament game on Saturday as the Falcons rallied impressively for a 77-76 over Dayton.
Bowling Green overcame a tough 0 of 8 shooting start as the Falcons trailed 20-2 just 6:08 into the WNIT consolation game in Rockford, Ill.
BG was outscored 24-17 in the first quarter before turning the tables on Dayton, outscoring the Flyers 22-15 in the second quarter to send the game to the half knotted at 39.
The Falcons continued to roll in the third quarter as they outscored Dayton 25-18 to take a 64-57 lead into the final quarter.
