Bowling Green tight end Fannin selected by Cleveland Browns in third round of NFL draft

Harold Fannin, Jr., will continue to wear an orange and brown jersey at the next level.

The Bowling Green State University star was selected in the third round by the Cleveland Browns in the NFL draft on Friday night.

The 2024 consensus All-American tight end was the No. 67 selection overall and the sixth tight end. Fannin became the program’s earliest draft pick since 1973 when guard Fred Sturt was chosen in the third round (No. 59 overall) by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Fannin, a 6-foot-3, 238-pound standout who broke numerous BGSU, Mid-American Conference, and FBS records in his three years with the Falcons, also became the second player from the school to be drafted in the past three years.
