BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University softball coach Sarah Willis has resigned and subsequently has accepted the head coaching position at Bradley University, BGSU announced.
"We are saddened by the departure of Coach Willis but grateful for all of her efforts leading the BGSU softball program," BGSU athletic director Bob Moosbrugger said in a news release.
Willis posted a 162-177 record in seven seasons as BGSU’s coach. She guided the Falcons to a 34-21 mark and an appearance in the Mid-American Conference tournament championship against Miami this past season. The Falcons went on to win two games in the National Invitational Softball Championship postseason tournament.
