BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team will have wait a bit longer to begin Mid-American Conference play.
The university announced on Tuesday that the team’s MAC opener versus Akron originally scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. has been postponed due to coronavirus protocols within Akron’s program.
BGSU said the game might be rescheduled for a future date.
The MAC on Thursday announced updated rescheduling policies with respect to coronavirus issues. If possible, games that cannot be played at their originally scheduled time will be rescheduled for a future date. If a game cannot be played or rescheduled, it will be declared a no contest.
