MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Justin Turner recorded 24 points and eight assists without committing a turnover as the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team defeated Central Michigan 93-65 on Saturday.
The Falcons (8-2 overall) reached the 5-0 mark in Mid-American Conference play for just the third time in program history. Saturday’s win completes a season sweep of CMU, with Bowling Green claiming a 90-69 home victory Tuesday.
Bowling Green had an effective outing offensively, taking care of the basketball while posting a stronger shooting percentage than the Chippewas (5-6, 1-3).
Recording 20 assists against five turnovers, BG shot 43.
