DEKALB, Ill. — The Bowling Green State men's basketball team remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play with a 68-42 win at Northern Illinois on Saturday.
The Falcons reached 3-0 in conference play for just the fifth time in the past 20 years.
Justin Turner led the Falcons (7-2, 3-0 MAC) with 20 points, Daeqwon Plowden added 12 points, and Trey Diggs chipped in with 11 points.
Caleb Fields was also in double figures for BGSU with 10 points.
Darius Beane paced Northern Illinois with 13 points and Tyler Cochran scored 11.
Bowling Green turned up the defense on the Huskies, allowing Northern Illinois to shoot just 33.
